Breathwork facilitation · Williamsburg & Richmond, VA

Just shut up & breathe.

Wild Mending is a trauma-informed breathwork practice for high-achieving women who have outgrown their old coping tools — and for the organizations, studios, and campuses ready to offer their people something that actually works.

No incense required. Just a nervous system, a room, and a breath.

Who this is for

You've built a life that looks right on paper.

And somewhere underneath the achievement, something feels stuck — a relationship, a career pivot, a grief you never had time to sit with, a body you've stopped listening to. Talk therapy has helped. Optimization hasn't fixed it. That stuck feeling doesn't live in your thinking mind; it lives in your nervous system, and breath is one of the few tools that can reach it directly.

Wild Mending sessions are built for capable women who are ready to stop white-knuckling their way through life and start metabolizing what's actually there — grief, transition, burnout, ambition without direction — through the body, not just the head.

How breathwork works

Your breath is the fastest lever you have over your nervous system.

Prolonged, connected breathing shifts your body's chemistry in a specific, sequential way — and that sequence is what makes the work therapeutic rather than just relaxing.

01

Blood chemistry shifts

Continuous breathing lowers carbon dioxide and raises blood pH, quieting the analytical mind and opening access to deeper emotional layers.

02

Hormones respond

Serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, and oxytocin rise; cortisol drops after an initial spike — the same chemistry behind catharsis and felt safety.

03

Your nervous system regulates

The breath moves you between sympathetic and parasympathetic states — mirroring the body's natural trauma-processing rhythm so old imprints can surface and integrate.

04

Awareness expands

As the mind quiets, you enter the space between waking and dreaming — where the unconscious holds its imagery, memory, and intuition.

The facilitator

I didn't come to this work from a wellness brand. I came to it from the floor.

I found breathwork after losing nearly everything I'd spent four years building — my home, my partner, my community, my career — in an instant. It became the tool that helped me move from shame and hopelessness into something closer to gratitude. I trained to become the facilitator I wish I'd had.
